SquadUp is exclusively for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
1. Introduction
SquadUp (operated by DEKS MEDIA LLC) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile social networking application and related services ("Service").
By using SquadUp, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Service.
2. COPPA Compliance
SquadUp is 18+ only and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age, and certainly not from children under 13.
In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we become aware that a user is under 18 years of age, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated personal information from our systems.

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Google Firebase, located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

- Secure authentication using Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In

After you delete your account, we may retain certain information for the following purposes:

This retained information will be permanently deleted within 90 days of account deletion, except where we are legally required to retain it for a longer period.

- Age certification checkbox: All users must certify they are 18+ during signup
- Date of birth collection: Users must provide their date of birth
- Server-side validation: Age is verified on our servers through Firebase

- Immediate termination: Accounts found to belong to users under 18 are immediately terminated

SquadUp is operated in the United States. If you are accessing our Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located.
By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and acknowledge that the United States may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
12. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
When we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will:
